Excellent cocktail with cognac and sparkling wines
– 4.5 cl of cognac
– 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
– Chilled dry champagne for topping
Pour into a shaker cognac, lemon juice, syrup, add ice and shake. Pour two cups of champagne and pour champagne wine.
This cocktail was named after an artillery gun, used in France during the first World War, mainly because they drink more than one or two glasses had almost the same effect as a shrapnel hit.
